The Church and the homeless

A year ago a wonderful book, Under the Overpass, by Mike Yankoski came to my attention by way of a friend and made a lasting impression on me. Mike took up the call of the Lord on his life and lived for 30 days as a homeless man in the United States. What he experienced at the hands of some in the church and Christians will make you laugh, wince, and possibly rethink your own ideas about those invisible souls in our midst.
